Default Lowering the rear end of my night train...

So. Is it as easy as a $15.95 bolt kit from eBay?? Or do I need to do the shocks and links and such? The kit on bay states " all you need to
Lower your softail up to 2" ". Am I
Missing something or is that really it?

Well yeah those bolts will lower it. Cheapest route, but it will take away some of your ride quality.

I'm not looking for much. Just an inch to get rid of that jack rabbit look. Cool on snowmobiles. Not so much on Harley's. So is this a bad route to take?

Guys on here have done it and love it. As soon as my lift opens up I intend to do it to my 03 NT. Guys who put big miles on bikes prefer air ride or other expensive lowering options because you dont sacrifice and ride quality.

I went with the bolt option on my Train, lowered it an inch it rides fine,if later on you find that you preferr the air ride you won't have wasted to much money. Jack Rabbit look good expression, I'll have to remember that.

So easy, even a caveman could do it. Here's how I did it:
