Ive taken my 01 softail to the tech and I have fault codes B1121 and B1122, which are

B1121(TSM) Left Turn Output Fault
B1122(TSM) Right Turn Output Fault
all the bulbs are working so I can only think there is a short to ground ,is this correct ???, or is there something else causing this problem , when I use thr indicators they flash normal for 4 seconds the flash at a more rapid pace , I am lost on what is causing this and where to start..any help would be grateful , Cheers.

 

Looking at my 2009 electrical manual ... I know not really the same codes because according to my manual b1121 and b1122 are "will not flash"

What they mention first is to check for corrosion/bad contacts among the terminals and bulbs, clean them and apply electrical contact lubricant ...

Do they still auto-cancel after 20 something flashes when you are riding? If they don't is indication of TSM module on the way out ...

Guess you need to get your hands on a 2001 electrical manual.

 

Did you just switch to LED turn signals by the way? I did and I am getting the same error with the red key. I ordered a Load Equalizer from Kuryakyn, should solve my problem.

I'm havinf the same issue. Just switched out rear fender for CVO fender with the led lights. After connect turned on and got 4 seconds if normal flashing on turn signals then rapid blinking. Same codes pop up. I cleared the codes and unplugged the rear lights and front lights but codes come back when I use the blinker. I even bought a bad lands illuminator and connected it but rear lights didn't work when plugged in. Any suggestions?

 

You need to install resistors in line or have LED's that have that built in. It's called hyper flash
