Since full blown Cholo's are just not in the budget right now, I wanted to ask an alternative question. I was about to order a set of simple slip on mufflers off ebay when I remembered that the fishtail extensions I installed on my Dyna looked and sounded pretty cool. So, do any of you Softail guys run 30 or 36 inch bolt on exhaust extensions on a stock shotgun style exhaust? If so, what are your thoughts?

I posted a couple pics of what I bolted on my Dyna. Please give me some feedback as to what you think about doing a similar bolt on to the shot gun pipes on my Fat Boy. l also thought I would mention, I have two different sets of baffles I could use to get a sound I was happy with, and keep it tuned fairly well. I just wanted to know peoples opinions on the extensions before I ditch the idea and order a set of slip on mufflers.
