I'd never consider a tank lift for my FXSTC with it's fatbob tanks.
The tank flows well looks wise as it is.
I did add a 2" to my FXCWC since it's stretched and lays flatter than I liked.
Stock lift.
Got to agree. On a Rocker, a tank lift is almost a must have item. On a Deluxe, I could only imagine it looking out of place. Still, its your choice to do as you wish. Its just seems as if you'd be pulling it off soon. But what they heck, I have taken plenty of my mods off later down the road. Its all just part of a bikes evolution, right.
If you have to raise your bars then no, at that point you are compromising your prefered riding position to show a little more bling. Next thing you know you're trailering it to shows...lol
Just don't get tank lifts. You spend hundreds of dollars to get the bike
as low as possible then you jack the front of the tank up in the air. It's
got to be the ugliest mod done to a Heritage or Deluxe!! Sorry, just my
humble opinion.
I agree on everything but the Rockers. Those tanks just don't flow with the lines of the bike (IMHO) and can benefit from being raised a tad in the front. Raising the tank on a Heritage or Deluxe is just a crime against nature.

Benway, totally agree, looks right on a FX or Rocker, not a nostalgic bike
like a Heritage,Deluxe or a Fatboy. But in the long run you are the one
that plunked down the cash or making the payment.
