Deuce Sissy Bar

Deuce Sissy Bar
My deuce has the factory short sissy bar/backrest and I'm looking to get a taller one for my wife to use on longer trips.
Does anybody have experience with the tall HD backrest that bolts to the fender? If so, about how tall is it?
My other option is to go with the brackets that let the deuce accept the regular sissy bars. The only thing I don't like about that option is that they don't make a detachable mount for the deuce.

Yeah not much of a selection for the deuce. Ran into same problem on mine. Ended up just buying the wife her own bike.. Thinking about a solo seat now. Good luck and nice deuce. How do those big radius pipes sound? Got them on my winter to do list. Love the clearance. Mine tend to drag when heavy cornering.

Have the tall one. Just went out and measured it and the bar itself is about 9 inches tall and with the backrest it's about 11 1/2 inches. Wife digs it.
@ billinthehills - Love mine but they are LOUD without baffles. Now I have 2 1/2 baffles in there, lol. They do sounds badass!

Sounds like the tall HD backrest will work. My wife is only 5'3" so it should be tall enough.
Billinthehills- the pipes sound wicked! Better than I expected! They are LOUD but for me not too loud. Bike sounds great at idle, while cruising, and really comes alive when you get on it.
I did the pipes, a kuraykin mach 2 air cleaner, and a fuelpak. Good results with quite a bit more power, great sound, and great looks.

cycle visions makes the side plates that mount in between the strut covers and the fender. put em on mine with their 18in sissy bar, but you can put any stock harley sissy bar on it. the one i have is not made for a passenger but i can switch it out when my girl gets on with me. if your bike is lowered the big radius will drag a tiny bit when hard cornering, but hell scraping is cool right.
