Primary inspection cover leak
The inspection cover leaks on my Deuce even after repeated new gaskets, cleaning with brake cleaner etc. Any tricks to sealing this cover? It has leaked since I got the bike, it is second hand '02.

My guess is that either the inspection cover or the primary cover is warped or possibly cracked in that area. Hate to suggest this, but try some sealer, see if that helps.

Mine leaked, tried making my own thicker gasket, 3M sealer, didn't stop it. Spent the $20 for a new one and hasn't dripped a drop

Think about upgrading to Harley's "Automatic Primary Chain Tensioner" then double gasket with gasket sealer. With the auto tensioner you'll never have to remove the inspection cover again.
