Default Engine number HD14200

Please, can anyone enlighten me as to what these numbers mean on my 1340 evo engine. There are no VIN numbers. The frame VIN numbers don't match. The only other numbers are DM209 stamped on each half of the crankcase. Do these numbers give any info about the engine, year manufacture ect.

Thanks for your reply. What does the 'moco' mean? The registration papers say the bike was declared manufactured 1994 but not registered until 2003. Any ideas? Tks

I've looked at this before and it didn't help. My guess is the motor is a replacement supplied by a moco/Harley franchise which they stamped themselves. Are there any modifications on the evo unit which might suggest it's age e.g. oil filter was relocated.
