Default Deuce sputters/chugs

Ok so here are the symtoms of what's happening: sometimes the bike will chug like its not getting fuel and cough then it is fine. It gets worse when the fuel gets lower then a 1/3-1/4 of a tank left. When it's full it almost never chugs/coughs. I have done some research and believe that I know what the prob is, but I'm hoping for some confirmation from some of you guys. So please give me your opinion.vafter I get a few feed backs I'll post what I believe the problem too be. thanks for your help. I ride 50+miles a day at least 5 days a week. Have 26000 on the bike. All new fluids at beginning of summer. I have removed and cleaned the air filter allowed to dry for 2 days and reoiled and reinstalled it. Thx in advance for your input.
Jim

Yeppers,,, The ole Pin hole,,,,sounds like it to me also..

I had one line go bad last summer on my 07 while I was on vacation, 500 miles from home..

True test is if U fill up usually Ur bike will run perfect till the gas level in the tank gets below the Hole in the line. then she'll start missing out and cough.

It will only get worse so it needs to be fixed..

I had Charles in WV do mine, as He was the only dealer after stopping at 3 other dealers who had all the parts to fix my bike..

With 32k on my bike I had them go ahead and replace all the lines and the gas filter..
think it was right at $330.00, more than I though but being 500 miles away from home I did n't have much choice..

If U want to do it Ur self and save the 2 hrs labor charge then here's a vid on how to do it.
