Ahoy from the cozy Persian Gulf; I ride a 2005 FLSTF Fat Boy and as soon as I get beck home I want to start some mods on my bike. That being said, I want to install a Tombstone tail light that covers the 3 holes that will be exposed once I relocate the license plate to the rear axle with a proper mount. Custom Chrome has a bracket that emulates the "step" all the deluxes, heritages and springers have (product #46642 on their catalog http://customchromecatalog.com/2012/full.asp?page=213 ) Does anyone has any experiences with this bracket? I'm really not looking to change the whole fender.

I put a rear Fatboy fender onto my Night Train and mounted a tombstone tail light onto it. Got it from JP Cycles but can remember the brand name. It covered all three holes.

 

Is it LED or conventional? Does it have the little opening on top to illuminate the license plate? Does it have the license plate bracket? I'm sorry being annoying I'm just trying to narrow my search and not buy the wrong one. Thanks!

I know this is old but anyone know the part # of this tail light?

 

i know this is old but I bought the tombstone taillight from jp part number 3400640 thinking it was it and it wasnt...the only lights that I can find that actually eliminate the license plate are part number 340-755 and 340-760 but they say they only fit 05-08 deluxes, 97-07 heritage springers. Anyone have any ideas whats different about the taillight mounting on those fenders vs the fatboy fender?
