Default Rear Brake Pedal

I just bought a used '03 Deuce, which also has a heavy breather. With the heavy breather, I have to curve my foot in to get to the tiny rear brake pedal. I stopped by the HD dealer figuriung that there would certianly be some kind of part that I could buy to get a larger pedal on my bike. They told me that small pedals are the only option on a softail and that without welding, the larger pedals that fit the touring bikes will not fit.

Anyone else have this problem and a solution?

Any good suggestion on brand? I tried looking on motorcycle superstore, but I had a hard time trying to find something that would clearly fit.

Your Harley Dealer is not very innovative. I had the same problem with my Night Train. Mounted Harley's Large Diamond Black brake peddle pad. Part number 46718-08. Solved the problem.

I sold it but it was no problem to install the large pedal on my Deuce. I will find a shot of the brake lever if you want but the only mod to it was couple drilled hole. I knocked the welded in spud off the pedal, took it apart and put two SS bolt thru it from inside. It stuck out like adding another full small pedal to the right. By bolting it with two bolts it was secure.

Kuryakyn makes a couple extended brake pedal pads also.

That's the exact pedal I want to add. I guess it will require drilling a hold in the brake lever. Thanks.
