Default 84-99 Questions converting from FXST to FLST

I have an 84 FXST that i've converted to an FL front end (94 heritage) and i'm having difficulty getting the wheel/caliper lined up.

First off my FXST had the wheel offset slightly, it doesnt look like the FL lower on the 94 are offset at all. If i get the wheel pretty close to centered, then the rotor is too close to the piston (not centered). Are the calipers different on the FXST and FLST?

On my FXST the lowers have different sized fender mounting tabs, indicating the wheel isn't centered in the forks. I don't see this on the FL, however i feel it has to, becuase harley shows the same part number for the speedo drive on the 84-94 FXST and FLST. The speedo drive is 1.4", but there isn't enough room to fit a 1.4" spacer on the opposite side.

So i guess, if someone can confirm that the FXST and FLST calipers are different , then i'll just go ahead and set it up slightly off center, and buy a new caliper.

Speedo drives are different

FX softails use 67120-84B
FL Softails use 67125-86A

Only difference between the two is the size of the spacer on the drive

It looks like the FX has a spacer that is .575" and the total length is 1.410"

and the FL has a spacer of .608" and the total length is 1.426"

16 thousands hardley seems like enough of a difference to make a new part?

Can anyone verify that the 94 FL is supposed to have the wheel completely centered in the frame?

I'm sorry I don't have the answers for you, but you might have better luck in the EVO section: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/evo-classic-models-84/

Lot's of EVO knowledgeable folks over there.
