I ran a Shorai in my 1125R. The weight savings was incredible! However, if you leave your bike outside like mine was, invest in a charger for it. The battery depleted quickly when left out in cold temps.

 

i know this is an old thread, but since seems to be revived i'll add some input...
i used a YTX15L-BS as recommended by RSD, it has worked well for me so far. i have recently move the power commander under the splash guard, but kept the ecm under the seat.
