Default New fuel gauge

I know theres a forum for this but ive heard a few here talk about replacing their stock fuel gauge...
Was wondering if anyone has a stock fuel gauge from a fuel injected bike?

Mine is a '05 Fatboy and i guees the gauge has to be specific to a fuel injected model.
Also was wondering if anyone knows how the fuel injected level gauge works?
Thanks

Are you asking if someone is still using the stock guage?

I have an fuel injected '05 Fat Boy as well and currently using an H-D LED guage. I had the stock guage on for a short time. Both are wired into the harness under the tank.

I would think both carb and FI models would use the same float thus using the same guage...not 100% sure on that though.

i couldnt imagine why it would matter either, however ive read a few times that only efi gauge works with efi...
would like to understand how they work so i could determine this.
And on i wasnt looking to see if anyone still used it, i was looking to see if anyone replaced it and would like to sell the stock one...
thanks for the replys.

I believe the difference is that an efi has an extra wire for the low fuel warning light which the carb models don't have. That's my understanding anyway, but I could be wrong.

so another wonderfull stealer story...
btw appr everyones replys.
so the dealer told me this wouldnt be covered under extended warrenty (which i have) and that my regular warrenty just just ended ha ha ha
so i trusted them and started looking at replacing it...
well i thought about it and thought this was bs and called the moco and they said of course it was covered. so back to the dealer and they say they never told me that it wasnt covered and to bring it right in and itll be fixed (also theres a 50$ deductable for the extended warrenty)
so i guess ill try this route...

Thought you might like to know, acording to the 05 parts book they both (EFI & Carb) use the same gauge (#75053-01B)
