Default Softail/Crossbones Raised tank anyone have pics?

G'day all

I'm thinking of raising the tank on my Crossbones. Has anyone got any pic's of a bones with a raised tank? Would love to see one before taking the plunge!

Here's a vid with a bunch of Softails with tank lifts. There's an XBones in there that has a 3" lift. It won a couple of awards at Sturgis a few years ago.

I lifted the tank on my Night Train not just for the cosmetic appeal but because I ride a lot in the deserts, California, Nevada, and Arizona are some of my favorite week end rides. Keeps thing a little cooler. I am too new to be able to post a pic but I have an album pic in my profile should you want to take a peek.

i have 97 roadking looking for heritage style handlebars to i have to change my cables and brake line

I used the 2" tank lift kit from DK Customs. Puts the tank in line with the seat to smooth out the lines much better.

Certainly not just for looks, summers down here get pretty damn hot and airflow was my primary issue to consider!
