I have actually been thinking of pulling mine and leaving it blank, just bare tank. Any pictures out there of anyone who has done that? Pulled them and left them blank, a few different angles?

Great look Knucky..I have the same paint scheme and have been toying with using those emblems. I'm worried the 2 whites might not match and I was thinking about having the emblem painted gold instead of white.

Also, check this emblem out. I bet it would look killer on the red/white scheme..

Don't worry - the whites match pretty good - i sincerely doubt you'll notice any difference.

Would all of these products you mention work on a satin finish? Any idea? Thinking of getting my stock emblems off my satin black slim.

TY Knucky...I'm still gonna see if I can have a body shop paint the white into gold, but it's good to know the white will work!

Default Great article!

The local HD Dealership did these exact emblems on my Slim yesterday and screwed the job up big time. One was higher than the other and the one that wasn't high was angled by atleast 1/2" from end to end. I took them off this morning! I will do it myself as you described tonight, or tomorrow. Thanks for you post!

I hope you didn't pay them for it. I have these in a box right now. I'm just waiting for time to do it. Too freaking busy lately.

Helped a buddy do the exact same mod to his black Deluxe. Those badges are cool.

Nice simple mod and they look good...thx for sharing.

I am probably in the minority but I think the stock Deluxe badges are the best looking badges Harley has ever produced.

Farging gorgeous dude! Paint scheme is spot on. Now you need the Deluxe OHV fender emblems and you're set....(don't you hate it when guys like me spend your money for ya!)
