guys i may want to put a fat boy rear fender on my 05 night train. what year fat boy rear fender will fit? also is it a direct bolt on? let me no asap. also if i wanted to use a fat boy front fender also will it fit?

 

Fatboy front fender will fit if you switch to a 16" wheel, not sure if it'll fit with the 21". As for rear, I believe a 00 - 05 will fit, I think it was 06 when they went 200 rear. Plenty who have done the swap in here, maybe they'll chime in with some actual experience. Did you check over in the nighttrain pic thread?

 

Always hated the Duck Tail fender on Softails. I mounted a rear 02 Fatboy fender onto my 03 Train. Direct bolt-on except for a bit of filing on the front so that the ignition module tray would fit properly. I know for a fact that a rear Fatboy fender 02 through 05 will fit your bike. Unsure if 2000 and 2001 will fit.

Yes, a front Fatboy fender will also bolt onto your Train.

 

See sig pic. Wire harness needs to be extended on one side as Train light and FB,Heritage harness plugs on opposite sides.
