Default Arlan Ness Retro Fitment Issue

I purchased a set of Arlan Ness Retro Floorboards for my Deluxe but the tang on the jiffy stand is going to hit them not allowing the jiffy stand to work. Any suggestions other than bending the crap out of the tang on the jiffy stand? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Would getting the boards out a little further help? If so then check out harleygoodies. I believe they are a sponsor on here. They will put the boards out an inch. I have them and they are great.

I have those on the bike already. I took a rubber mallet and massaged it a bit and got it to where it clears now. Thanks,

Rubber mallet does the trick, just give it a few taps. Did mine in the winter when it it was dead cold and the tang still gave a bit no problem which is all it took.

Not a huge issue, well worth the small amount of trouble.
