Default Turn signal not blinking

I just replaced the bulb in my front right turn signal. I have an 05 Deuce. The light comes on and stays on, but when I hit the turn signal it does not blink off and on. The rear turn signal on the same side is working just fine. Any ideas what could keep it from blinking?

had the same thing happen.....my original bulb was dual filament....I replcaed with a single filament. Once I repalced it with a dual filament it started working correctly.

I don't NEED dual filament and it isn't wired to need dual filament, but still needs one to work right.

so, go look at your bulb and compare it to one of the others....and go get the right bulb.

But to make sure, take the bulb out of the other side and swap it in....if it works correctly, then you know its the bulb.

Check your blinker fluid level

Could be a pinched or loose wire or the wrong bulb.

I agree with Traveler double check bulb #

You can also eliminate the socket and wiring simply by putting the left front(properly working side) in the right side.

If the one on the same side rear blinks, it's the TSM. (turn signal module). Or wrong bulb.

I can't find my blinker fluid reservoir. Where is it? Help!!
Just to parrot the others, swap out the other front bulb. That's the surest way to diagnose the problem.

Had the same problem with my left turn signals. Front one wouldn't blink..
rear one did.
Every one was telling me it was my TSM. (turn signal module)
Turned out to be a short in the left signal wires at the wiring
harness plug under the seat...connecting to the rear signals.
cost to replace connector about 5 bucks..saved me 600 for a new TSM...
Look for a short.

It was the wrong bulb. I ordered it from JP cycles and it was supposed to the a turn signal bulb but instead was just an amber bulb. They sent me the right one. It works fine.

And just for the record, is that DOT3 or DOT4 blinker fluid?
