Default has any one relocated front turn signals on a 2011 or newer softail

I tried to have my local HD dealer relocate my front turn signals off the handle bars on my 2011 rocker and was told that they could not do it. Something to do with a circut board in the switch housing and some type of a delay in the signal. Any one ever hear of this? I would really like to clean up my handle bars.

Your dealer told you this???

All you need to do is extend the wiring back down through the bars as yes they are integrated into the switch board. I bought some three prong male & female waterproof plugs so I can quickly remove them when doing work on it.

There is a plug on the right front of the frame just under the rubber piece on the front of the tank. Its where an auxillary light bar plugs in, you can tap into this instead of trying to fish wires through your handle bars. The leads on the handlebars can be cut and capped (per Harley's instructions that come with the aux light bar), it will cause the indicators in the dash will flash a little fast but the lights operate just like they should. Misbehavin did a write up on a Fat Boy Lo, its pretty easy stuff, I think there is even a kit on ebay.

This link my help you out some. At least it will give you a general Idea. I do like Deadanimal's idea about the plugs for future work. I should have done that.
