I've been looking at adding a fairing to my 2008 Heritage for about a year. I have the HD Audio Boom on it now with the speakers attached to handlebars. Works ok in town but can't hear at all on the highway, so I'm looking at fairing with better sound system. I've researched the diff products and I'm leaning toward the Reckless system with the 4 5's, bluetooth receiver and amp. Seems to have good reviews and pretty good price compared to others.

I have the Deadcentercycles fairing, no pics yet as it's in for paint along with my bags and Tourpak, but what I can tell you is that you get what you pay for. my painter was very complimentary about the gel coat finish on mine, meaning less work for him.

I have a Kuryakyn fairing on my 08 Heritage and love it. Will add pics after I get the outer shell back from paint. I've also added hand controls from a touring bike so I can control the volume on the bars without reaching for the deck to change volume or other functions. Now I have a couple of extra switches to use as well. One will be for the up/down function of Shotgun Shocks as soon as I get the cash saved up for it.. Not sure what the other will be for yet but will figure that out sooner or later...

I like the sound of controlling the volume from your handlebars. If you can keep us posted on how it came out. That would make for a great thread. Thanks in advance.

Did you go back to the windshield??? If so why? Just wondering based on your signature photo.
