Default Softail triple tree

I just bought a 2013 Fatboy. I want to put a 2007 Softail Standard triple tree and headlight on it. Will it bolt directly on? Will the steering lock still work? Will the rake change?

All softail frames from 2000 and up have the same frame except the duece. All softail triple trees are interchangeable. Only one model has a different rake and it's the wideglide which is a Dyna model. I had to call the factory to get an answer. Not even the dealers knew.

I don't quite see that, the Nightrains have a 32% rake on the Rockers it's 36% and this new Breakout it's apparently 37%.

From the research I have done, the frames are the same among softails, and the neck rake is the same as well. Some of the different rake numbers are achieved with raked trees. The night train for example has a 32* rake at the neck, and 2* in the trees bringing the total to 34*.

The H-D website shows rake angle on current models. Most softails are 32 degrees. The rockers are a little more as are the breakout (rocker frame) the dyna wide glide has 35 I think.
Wide glide has 34.... Just checked.
2013 fatboy has 31 degrees.
Breakout has 35. From the HD website.

I wouldn't be surprised that if you hang out long enough someone would make a straight across swap with you.

FX and FL softails have different rake. That means that a fatboy and an FXST have different rakes.
