Fatboy front turn signal rewiring
Ok, Im moving my front signals off the bars and down to the side of the headlight.. My buddy decided to cut the signals off at the housing, Im supposed to unhook the wires at the housing and pull them up through the bars I was told..
Can I cut the harness at the frame and add wire there to place them on the sides of the headlight? instead of messing with the internal wiring?
I was told the wiring for the signals is seperate from the wires to the turn signal switches on each side!! HELP@!!@!@!

Yes.
There is a plug on the right side of the frame, under the tank. 6 wires. 3 to each signal. You can splice onto the end of that.
You are correct that the wires for the buttons are separate.
If they are currently internally wired, you can pull that wire back through the handlebars, towards the frame. Then you may not need to extend the wires, just re attach them. Or if you did not already cut the wires at the signals, you can undo each wire at the plug, and pull the wires up through the bars. Then when you relocate the signal, just reattach the wires into the plug (little clips are a PIA), and no splicing necessary.
