Default HD Fender Spear

Have the solo spring seat on my HD Slim and have no use for a passenger pillion, so with that being said I would like to remove the plastic cap and cover the hole in the rear fender, any opinions on the HD fender spear for the job?

IMO it looks good. Are you sure you are NEVER going to want a seat on there? Those are as hard to get off as tank badges.

Hey could always get himself one of those suction cup seats and have them stuck on either side of the spear.

Yeah that piece of scotch tape isn't going to hold it on very good.
