How do you like the Bassani, how the sound compared to stock? Any chance you can do a video clip with the sound? As for the Apes, I'm not familiar with them enough to understand the year generation or style bike they came from back in the days but it looks like it would be a bitch to ride like that, is it?
Btw I have the same bike and color and love mine! Congrats!
Thx. The Bassani slip on will take some getting used to if you are coming from a set of aftermarkets like I did, and may just be temporary (at least the stock set is gone!) I had V&H LongShots on my previous ride, and the Bassani's are a lot quieter at idle but when you crack the throttle...look out, they might even be as loud or louder when accelerating. They emit a nice deep throaty tone while at idle or at constant speed, reminding me of a nice Muscle car V8. Like the offset riser's, they are growing on me, but once V&H release something that fits other than Big Radius I will probably switch.
But when my bud cranked up his ride with big radius, I'll admit I was jealous.
I like the apes much better than the stock bars. But if it were mine, I'd get rid of the pull back risers and replace them with straight risers. I personally never liked the look of pull back risers with apes. But if you like it, it's cool.

I'm with you on that, but I think changing them could be areal pita I'm pretty sure the idiot lights and speedo are attached to the risers.
