2013 Deluxe baffle removal???
So last night I made the terrible mistake of attempting to remove he baffles on the wife's 2013 Softail Deluxe. Not successful!
It took a act of congress to just remove the slip ons. Never imagined it would be so hard.
Used a hole saw to release the rear end of baffle but cannot get it out. Any ideas or is this a thing of the past?

There was a similar thread about this about a week ago. A guy did the same as you and had the same problem. The catalytic converters are in the front end of the mufflers (honey comb looking piece) and someone in that thread said that the cats are attached to the baffles and that you need to knock the baffles and cats out the rear end of the mufflers by using a large dowel and a hammer after the weld is cut at the rear of the muffler. I know it can be done because American Custom Exhaust does it (although they don't advertise it). BTW, using penetrating oil on the head pipe/muffler connection makes getting the mufflers off way easier. The bad news is that the sound of the mufflers without cats or baffles is pretty harsh and obnoxious. Good luck.
