I hope someone can help me out with this problem. I installed a new Speedo tach combo 70900070a on my 2005 Night Train and the fuel level indicator does not work. The instructions say it will not show miles to empty but the Fuel level should work. I have it turned on but it shows I have no fuel.

 

If I remember correctly I had the same issue until I added at least 3 gallons of fuel. I believe the instructions say something to that effect. I could be totaly mistaken.

 

I does say you need to re fill the tank before it is accurate, But I have rode quit a bit since I installed it and refilled it several times and my level indicator always shows that I have no fuel.
