Baker OD6 or DD7 - I have the OD6 in my Evo Big Dog chopper and it handles all the power with Cadillac smooth shifting. whenever I ride it and then get back on the Breakout, it reminds me what a notchy P.O.S. the stock HD trans is. hah.
Be sure you also upgrade your drive belt pulleys to 30t front and 68t or 70t rear. that tall stock drive ratio with 32/66 pulleys has no business on a performance bike. talk to Baker and they'll get you squared away. They can probably set up your individual gearing ratios in the trans to work optimally with the stock 32/66 pulleys if you choose to keep them. Note that you'll lose the HD gear shifter display and 6th light on the stock speedo, if that matters. you could always get a Dakota unit and that would work fine.
P.S. if you want a truly bad *** motor go to RB Racing website and look at their Orca motors. You can't get any better than that.
