Default 84-99 forks on 03 fxst

OK, I have been bedazzled for a while about this. Wanting to add some more bling on my 03 FXST by putting on some chrome fork lowers. It is hard to find fork asm that are billet or not your stock ones that have been chromed by some local yoho.. But you sure can find ALOT of them, ie(ultima, bkrider, etc.) or many vendors that carry the 84-99 FXST style. So my question is can you put a set of 84-99 forks on a 03? I know that the forks are 41mm and stock length is 32 inches for both. The measurement between caliper bolts on the 03 is 2.75 inches and I believe the 84-99 is 3.4375 so I believe I would have to buy the older caliper as well. Does anyone know where to get nice aftermarket forks or what can you put the old on to the new??

Here's one place:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arlen-Ness-S...5d6821&vxp=mtr
Another:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHROME-LOWER...3cf0d1&vxp=mtr
There is also a new "take off" set in eBay as well that you can polish youself.

Thanks for the fb. Was wanting to swap out tubes and lowers but may have to get my hands dirty.

Ahh. I know I've seen a full set-up on eBay recently, just couldn't say when. I just swapped in some Progressive springs and it isn't as big a deal as I thought it was going to be.
