If I would've know how much better the ride would be, I would've started saving as soon as I bought the bike.... not to mention the "cool factor"

i need to ride a bike with an air ride man. i wanna se if the difference is worth the coin it costs.

can't deny the cool factor of pulling up somewhere, hitting that switch and dropping the *** all the way down.

nice write up man.

Alain, I know it's hard to take someone's word on something that cost this much but trust me, and anyone else here who has one, it's worth every single penny. It is also something that goes way beyond the "cool factor" too. It takes the comfort level of riding to new heights and it also plays a big role in raising the safety level or riding too.

You'll have to explain the "raising the safety level" part. From what I've experienced at every possible riding position and rebound I've tried, the rear tire leaves the road more often when going over sharp bumps than it did stock. Especially noticeable when you're on the throttle.

Could just be that you need to play with the rebound a bit more.
Mine stays planted most of the time, so much so that it feels strange when I feel bumps in the front end and not in the rear.
But I run about stock height, maybe an inch lower, with the rebound a little on the soft side, but solid enough that it doesn't bottom...
