Why is it you don't see many Softails with HiWay pegs?

I've been working on a prototype set that bolt on to my foot boards, getting them right where I want them for height, length, angle, etc.. I don't like my posture without them, and now they'll be custom made to fit me and my quirks. Plus my feet are still right there for the brake and gears when needed. Now that they're dialed in, I just weld, tap and die, PC, and done. Much more comfortable than just the boards alone.

I'll see what I can do. Took me a year to figure out how to post a profile pic. What I did was pretty basic, I took the rubber coverings off the foot boards, then I just took a cheap set of shifter arms(e-bay) with the cut outs in them and bolted them them flat to the boards using the first anchoring hole from the rubber pad, then used a long bolt upright in the hole for the shifter spline to establish height. That felt too far away though, so I moved it back to the first cutout slot and much better. The real one will look much better (hopefully) but be pretty much the same basic design lines. I figure at the top of the bolt will either be a T or a small metal pad for the foot rest. I like coming off the top of the boards because I can still scrape the boards riding and not hit the pegs.
