I hardly ever use 6th.'i feel the buzz at around 3200 rpms. I can easily do 75 to 80 mph in fifth under 3000 rpms. Maybe something is wrong with your ride.

anything above 70 in 6th gear i feel a buzz. i think most is the engine, and the lack of windshield makes me grip a little tighter so i notice it more.

Not so much after I changed the cams but when the bike was stock it turned into a buzz box at 65mph on up, I remember my feet would vibrate off the floorboards.

Huh. I'm surprised by this post. I've owned bikes that did that years past, but my 07 softail doesn't have much vibration at all even at high speeds, 90 to 100. Certainly the mirrors are still clearly projecting image, although the hand grip is a little bit vibrating.

Owning both a A motor Limited and a B motor FatBoy, I really notice the difference between the two 103 motors when I switch bikes. I owned a Heritage before the B motor came out and I must say the new 103 B does buzz but it ain't near the vibration I felt on my old Heritage

I recently borrowed an '11 Heritage with the 96" motor for a day. I don't know what "buzz" you guys are talking about. the bike was smooth as glass.

Then again, my ride for 21 years has been a '94 Softail-rigid mount Evo, no balancer. Now THAT bike vibrates. At 85 MPH, the handgrips feel like they're 3" in diameter!

The "B" motor is so smooth it doesn't even feel like a Harley to me.

My bike is very smooth to 3200 rpm. Above that there is some vibration. It isnt bad but it is noticeable. I did some search's on this subject. Bottom line is the vibration varies a lot from one bike to another and there isnt much you can do about it. But I did make sure the motor mounts and exhaust were aligned and tight and that the wheels were in balance.

I haven't noticed any at all on mine. I wondered whether the cheap and nasty Kury ISOs I've got on eliminate it, but that's not the case as the image in my mirrors is clear and crisp at all speeds I've run. I may or may not have been all the way up to 100mph in 6th, and whilst auto-tuning have run all kinds of crazy RPMs to fill in the table cells, so I think I've covered all the combinations and have yet to find an uncomfortable combination of speed/rpm/gear.

The 103B's do have some buzz at around 3000 rpm and up. My Breakout starts having it at around 2900 rpm, although it is slight but just enough you can feel it. My mirrors are always clear though.
