Never felt a buzz at any RPM on mine. Smooth as silk up and down

I feel the buzz on my 08 Fatboy, not too bad. I had an old GSXR that would put my hands to sleep.

That's pretty close to what I feel in my '13 Breakout, but then I switched to a belt primary which removes the compensator. Would you mind checking to see what speed your Breakout does at 3000 rpm? The belt primary changed my ratio, so now i'm doing about 70 in 6th gear at 3000 rpm. Thanks!

I have always road hardtails with hot (high hp) rigid mounted engines. My 2013 Slim is my first Softail. It rode like a luxury car until I lowered it and adjusted the preload up to stiffen the suspension. Not sure what "buzz" you guys are talking about... pretty smooth to me. Guess you guys are not used to rigids.

If you ride it properly you'll always feel the buzz. Love my classic evo Buzz.

I got tired of the buzz on my Heritage and traded it.

Really? Try removing the compensator. Oh, and rigid mounts are all I've ever had,... so no.

I've read that others feel it.. but I can honestly say that never in the 50k I got on our 07 have I ever felt a buzz in the grips or floorboards,, and yes I've done a lot of 70-75 riding on the slab and it's just smooth..????

My wife's has no noticeable vibration at all. Mine does. Most do to some extent. You got a good one.
