Default Daymaker 4" Aux LED light

Has any one else had any issues with the Daymaker 4" Aux LED lights? I have had them since March 2013 and I have had to send them back to the Dealer since inside of the sealed bulb there is white powder. I have not seen anyone else having the same problem.

Yes. After about two weeks I got it in one of the lights. They replaced it for free at the shop. About 3 weeks later the other one did the same thing. Kind of looked like a burn mark on the black background. Since I have a new batch I've had no problems for a few months.

I had the white powder issue in my 5 3/4" headlight after about 11 months. They swapped it out for a new one for me.

Default Already a second time

I have already returned one, and now the other one is having issues, and it looks like the first one I returned is starting to have the powder again. The dealer, bought it online, is saying that I shouldn't have problems with it and they haven't had any others returned. The haven't said it but seems to me that they don't want to exchange it again.

I got the dealership to swap out my LED aux lamps three times (over a 6 month period) before I got a set that actually was decent. Apparently, there is a bad batch floating around which powders on the inside creating a white deposit on the lens. Just ask the dealership to make sure that they are not issuing replacements from the same batch if you get them swapped under warranty.

YES!!! Mine were made Dec 2011. But HD was very good to me and shipped out new ones even though they were out of warranty.

Was thinking of picking some up. So is there still an issue or no? Should a guy wait a little longer?

I want to get it fixed, but even though the powder looks bad, the bulbs still work. And there is a big difference between the regular and LED aux light, and a really big difference for the 7" regular and LED head light

The issue did get fixed. Just don't pick up a set from batches made before mid-2012. Like Sheng32 says, there is a huge difference with these on.
