If they all use fender struts, the swing-arm/wheel is still going to operate separately than the fender itself and thus require a significant spacing. When going the solo seat route anyway, why not attach the fender directly to the swing-arm achieving a more hard-tail look?

I was thinking the same thing. Wouldn't this also eliminate the need for the air lifts?

Where abouts in australia are you damo? Theres a shop in perth that sell all the custom fenders but i dont believe they fabricate. They also do the heartland kits but you can also buy the heartland fender as in the pic for around $300 aus direct from them unpainted

I'm really confused on the Heartland kit? Who would spend an extra $2400 on a fender? I can see a bike with 150 rear paying the extra to go to the fat rear tire, but I don't understand the need for the breakout? Snag a custom fender or chop an existing one...heck do anything for a 10th of that price. Looks the exact same to me as the original rear.
