Default Bone Shakers: Black or Chrome Wrapped

So I'm putting on some new pipes, either black or chrome bone shakers. If I go chrome, I'm wrapping them as I know the chrome will color eventually. The third pic below is my bike currently. The crappy quality pic doesn't show very well, but its a pretty cool OD Green right now. What's your opinion? ANy recomendations for wrap if I go chrome?

Samson Tech, I'm guessing you might have the answer to my question. Do the chrome pipes generally color after a while?

I never understood why a person would buy a particular pipe, Black or Chrome, only to wrap them in that ugly heat wrap stuff. I have chrome pipes and the 3 head pipes I had them ceramic coated and they still look brand new under the heat shields. I agree, get them ceramic coated in Black or the Silver/chrome and ditch the heat wrap idea.

For the same reason you would put "useless" 39" Cholo pipes and fishtails that drag everywhere. Or a big wheel up front. Or chrome the fuel lines. (ie chromed everything)
I personally love the look of the wrap. I also love the look of your bike, but it isn't the style for me.

Would you go up to some dude with what you thought had an ugly wife and say "I love women, but yours has the face like a bulldog chewing a wasp...."? Probably not. That's the theory I use when judging other dudes rides. Both of them
