Looks great. Is it metal? Also does it lower visibility at night?

The cooler it is the more it's going to cost you. And that looks cool!

Default Hell yeah!

It ain't cheap, I know. But it sure looks good!
It may reduce visibility, I don't know. But I plan on fitting an L.E.D. light anyway...
What I really wanna know is if it'll fit my stock Slim light shroud or not. Anyone out there got any advice?

J&P's site has fitment info issues. According to Headwinds web page, yeah, it's a DIRECT replacement for the trim ring. It's also like $100 cheaper on their site, and J&P doesn't price match for any reason - even if THEIR price is higher than the manufacturer's price.

It's T-6 Aluminum.

Yes, it causes shadows in your lamp, or, I should say it almost definitely does based on my experience with another similar product, which I had on for a short time, and then pulled off for that very reason. Too many shadows at night as it is, and too many deer and other critters I'm constantly dodging.

LED or not, it probably will still cast shadows. I love the look of it, and would have jumped all over this, but for me, it's not worth the loss of consistent lighting. That said, as I mentioned above, check around and see if anyone else is selling Headwinds at a discount - will save over J&P's pricing, even as a gold member. Would save just ordering direct from Headwinds as it is!
