I can't help it, when I am passionate about something I try to learn as much as I can about it.

I would like to get a bullet style headlight shell but in black. I've seen the HD chrome ones but I need black. I also want my daymaker to fit it. Anyone found something like this? There are several good looking headlight assemblies on ebay and on some sites but I want to make sure the daymaker will fit them. What all would be involved to make the daymaker fit or how much work would be involved to make one work as long as I got the 5 3/4 size shell?

Amazon says the 10 degree bushings do not fit the breakout.

Advice?

They drop right in. Lots of sites, including HD's, qualify parts as "do not fit" when its something they're unsure about. With the Breakout being a relatively new Softail model you get a lot of this. Thats why this thread is such a great resource for us.

Loolol. Get used to seeing that sentence "does not fit breakout ". Us rocker guys dealt with that for years !! And it's still going on. lolol
