I really want to pick up a cheap stock fxst for misses. I wish I could buy one for the price you guys pay for then over there. I'd have one already. She wants it slammed, blacked out against a hot pink combo.

Someone posted this recently from a show or something on here. She's in love with it lol. Hoping when the day comes I could try import something from over there, find some one on here willing to help me check it over for me

I love satin black. It always reminds me of an old school hotrod. My bike will always be mine and not influenced by what anyone thinks. (Unless the wife says so ) I started sanding the back fender then quickly realized I was going to cover everything else in the garage with dust. Can't do that. Hopefully I can get away with marring the surface and spraying over what's on it already. At least for now. I can see tho, the bike started life black. Which really pisses me off.

That pink bike is actually pretty badass. Minus the heart air cleaner. I'd rock a pink bike, as long as it was for Susan G. Komen. Cause really... who don't like boobies?

Can't do that yet. Ain't took my class and I still gotta paint the tins. Then when the lowering kit comes in that's getting thrown in.

Gonna order the lowering kit tomorrow I hope. Goin with the burly slammer for now. Got my front signals back on, I shortened the wires so there wasn't a huge bundle under the tank. I threw on my tool bag to get a real idea of how it will look. I've set my deadline for may 4th to have this thing back together. Gotta get some paint and get on that next weekend. Then the fuel pump and rear fender has to go back together. Here's a couple pics. Grr they're sideways. Sorry yall.

Also, just remembered, found out my front rims got a small bent spot in it.. can the dealer shop fix that? How much? Or would I have to buy a new rim.

Well... IT'S ALIVE! Fired right up. All I need to do is fill the trans, fill and bleed the front brake, and finish paying for the new wheel I had to buy. Check it out! And check out my attempt at drawing a pinstripe design!

Thanks softie! It's hard to see but the fender struts have a bit more of a "brushed" look. I used a very special technique on them called a power sander and 50 grit. The paint is a good "10ft" job. Looks like a rush job up close. Which... it really what it was lol.

My whole bike is a 10 foot bike lol. Almost 8 years in the sun and 129k tends to wear on things. Your bike looks good enough from here. Who cares what it looks liked parked anyways.
