Default I like it!

I think your Cocktail Shakers look great. Similar to my Bell tips?! I agree with you, make entire exhaust match: All black, or All Chrome. I think all Chrome exhaust would look great on your Slim as well.

On a February day in Wisconsin , I gave grandchildren rides in the FB with a side car most of the day. Then rinsed it down and put it away.

I just got done changing the brake light pressure swith on the '93 FLSTC. Maaaaan, could they have made that switch any harder to get at?

Anyway, they make these switches in two sizes, this one like off the Heritage -

Name: brake%20switch_zpszxx7wa46.jpg
Views: 269
Size: 273.5 KB

and one in a lager diameter for the Shovelhead era. Both of these switches are about $25.oo from Harley. I learned a long time ago that the larger one can Be replaced by a switch of the same style intended for a VW Beetle which only costs about $7 and lastS a lot longer. Does anybody know if there is one comparable to the smaller diameter out there somewhere???

I washed my Slim for the very first time, then rode the heck out of it because it was 75 here today.

I also reached 500 miles today, so now the gloves are off. 😎

So, completely worth it! I'm glad I did mine. That straight up look bugs me.

It might be a whole lotta work but well worth it. To me a harley plate must be above the tail light for it to be a harley. Tradition.

True. That straight-up plate looked like an afterthought and/or a billboard. Don't get me wrong - I like it and would undoubtedly do it again. Next time, however, I'd make sure I didn't allow the screw(s) to fall into the cover in the wheel-well.

Wind deflector.
Wife bought me the fangs, Tried putting them on according to HD directions, Not working, So I take them back and trade them in for part of my Stage 1 stuff....
After reading here on this great site, I found another way to mount them.
I just mounted them in about 10 min....
Tomorrow I'll ride and try them out....
