I went thru most of the pics on each model above, but was hoping to organize bikes here with Apes. I'd like to put Apes on my wife's (Chrome Lady) Deluxe for comfort, but she is hesitant on the looks.

Now, I know what you are thinking, "it doesn't matter what I think, it's her bike and SHE needs to feel comfortable". I know this is true,But I want her to TRY it out this way, if she doesn't like it, We'll go back to stock. She is not one to "try" things. From what I'm reading, most everyone who went to apessay that it is more comfortable.

I'm thinking of 16" w/ 1 inch risers, or 12" w/ her stock 4" risers. Will she be able to turn at low speed as easy with these apes?

Anyway, back to my original request, could you post some pics of these bikes with Apes?

I am assuming 12" with about a 2 inch rise?

 

10", these are off a Dyna Wide Glide including the risers. They are very close to the Fat Mini Apes HD sells. I recently took them off to see how beach bars would look. I'm still undecided on which bars I will keep.

What's thatseat you're showing. I've been thinking about a Mustang, that will sit me down and back. Yours looks like it would do the trick. Comfort rating?

 

Any harder to turn with the apes?

 

Is there any difference in the ease of turning with the apes?

 

Here is a pic of mine. It is a little different while turning at low speeds but you get used to it fairly quickly. Seems like when you turn sharpone hand ends up in your chest and the other arm is completely extended, but once againyou get used to it. I don't like the looks very much either (they were on it when I bought the bike), but I will say they are more comfortable on long rides.
