Default Apes on FXST?

Looking at ordering a set of apes for my 05 Standard. Debating on the narrow apes or the standard 9" ape? I was looking at the 14" Wild1 Chubby's, these has a center width of 9" so they would not extend out past my triple clamp. Any thoughts?

I went from Wide 14s to Narrow 14s , about a month ago , like the narrow better . My arms were reaching out to far to the side , much more comfortable for me with the narrow ,

Go with the width that matches the triple tree and fork tubes. Looks way better since it all lines up. Here's a front shot of my 14" wild 1 oulawz:

Def go with the narrow apes. I finally got narrow 16's. Much better looking IMO. FXST should come standard with apes.

Yes I do but posting from my phone. I went with the RSD vintage apes and love em. I'll post a pic later. The stock buckhorns killed my wrists and looked like crap to me.
