Exclamation 107" kit, CP Pistons and 574 Crane Cams

I ordered my 107" big bore kit from Chris Rivas VTwin today. I was going to order the FuelMoto 107" Big Bore kit but I decided to support my local guy instead, especially since he will be doing my dyno and the price on the kit was bascially the same.

I will be selling my Wood 555 cams. Not that I dont like them, I think they are GREAT for the set up I have now. But the 574 Crane cams (they are Chris' signature series cams) are Easy Start cams and with my compression going to 10.5:1, I thought it was a good idea and people around here rave about the cams. They also help with heat....and well, it gets really hot here in Central Cali.

A friend of mine has a shop and is going to walk me through doing the installation. Im hoping to do it this week but I am at his mercy.

I cant wait to feel the power in the seat!

I havent but any Harleys but I ran cp 2618 forged pistons in my 03 cobra and it ran all day at 650 HP on the street and 805 on race gas. I would say they make a good product for cars so I would hope their motorcycle parts are just as good.

Yea, I believe their forged pistons are one of the best, if not the best.

Can't wait to see how it turns out myself. Good luck with the install.

Is your builder going to check for crank runout?

I have no idea what that is. Lol So, I have no idea.

He did say the bottom end should be able to handle its new found top end power though.
