Default FL Tubes on a FX Front End

Looking to get rid of my Monotubes and go lower on my FXST with the FL tubes. I am about to buy 2-under tubes and the progressive drop-in kit but need to know if I need anything else or is it a straight swap with my current tubes. I know a bunch of the Night Train guys have done it so hopefully they can chime in.

I did exactly that. -2" tubes and the progressive drop in kit. I cut my spacer to 2-1/4" to accommodate the shorter tubes. I also put in the SE heavy fork oil. It still bottoms out if I hit a hard enough bump but I like the stiffer ride. I may have to add a little more oil to stop this from happening.

The shorter tubes and the drop in kit allowed me to get my bike to sit perfectly level.

Also don't forget new fork seals and crush washers for the damper bolts in the bottom of the fork lowers. Not sure if you're buying just the tubes or the whole kit that comes with all the seals and everything

Just ordered the whole tube kit with everything. Also got the drop-in kit. I'm trying to level mine out too. The monotubes only got me about 1.5" lower than stock. This should do the trick though. Thanks fellas!
