Default What length fishtails will clear my hard bags?

I've asked Samson about the length and height of their fishtails but got no answer on the length, so I can't determine where they start going upward. They did tell me the fishtails are about 5" high.

In the photo below I have 28" mufflers. I don't want the fishtails sticking way out - as close to the bags as possible but of course clearing them would be best.

My choices are 30", 33", or 36".

Anyone have Samson fishtails on their Deluxe while running Road King hardbags??

Also, one rep from Samson answered my question of "what's the difference between your products that say "mufflers" and those that say "slip-ons?" One rep answered there is no difference. Another answered the slip-ons have no baffles. Anyone know which is correct?

The Samson website has pictures that give a fairly representative look of how the pipes fit. It appears that 33s would be your best bet...

33" are the minimum to clear both hard bags and RK bags.

Yep looks like 33" it is. If I got the 36" I know I would back them into something at some point

Thanks! I did a google image search on a Deluxe with fishtails and hardbags but didn't find anything and didn't think to try it with a road king
