To the OP . . I have a Viking Bag. Came as part of a package deal from Dead creek cycles when I bought the swingarm bag mounting kit. Better than I expected and didn't have to spend a lot of cash. Would I like a better bag? Sure, but the Viking bag serves my purpose. It's well built, synthetic leather and has a plastic stiffener laminated between so it won't sag.

I've got the 5" leatherworks, and the capacity is great. But it does grind when the floorboards do. (And wore a hole after just two touches down.) I made a plate to hold it on more securely, and should have used the opportunity to raise it higher (it only wore through after I had finished the mounting plate!) But I've "customised" it with an extra bit of sacrificial leather over the exposed corner, together with a titanium bolt in just the right spot :-)

@jam436. . . The kit is solid, great quality, no issues. Very detailed instructions with lots of pics and arrows. I did have to drill a new hole bc the lower belt guard didn't match up to the plates perfectly but no big deal. I am sure I could've made it myself but my time is important and Dead Creek took the thinking out of it. Great company. Quick shipping.

However, I am also using the Leatherworks 5" bag on my 2010 Lo and have no complaints with it. especially if you're handy and build, or buy, the mounting plate for it
Hahahaha, Even I have to laugh at that picture. Man... what were they thinking doing such a bright blue turtleneck like that.

There are also other options available like sissy bar bags and tool bags from us, just in case you're flexible from straying away from a swing arm bag. http://www.vikingbags.com/motorcycle-luggage.htm

Went with Leatherworks bag it comes in two depths 3" and 5" I picked the 5" for that extra room and really like, I also hard mounted with wing nut so I can take off faster if needed. Go to hardwear store and get your own parts to hard mount, much cheaper. Good quality

BadGCustoms regular swingarm bag is 150 bucks. Well under 200. Nice bags for sure. Have their rectangular one on my Slim.
