Guys, I am searching the web since a while since I still mount a 140 on my Slim and am trying to decide to go for 150 or 160.
I am happy to see that finally somebody did but I can't see the pictures anybody can post one?

Here in Brazil some guys are using 120/70 (front) and 180/65 (rear) with original wheels...

I'm changing my original tires on Michelin Commander II 80/90 and 150/80...

Oh ok, thanks for the heads up. I will come back in the near future to check them out then.

You're in Monroeville? Nice, I am in Oakland and keep the bike during the off season in Murrysville where there a garage I can use. I go very often to east Pittsburgh area. Great to know that a forum member is that close. Where did you get your bike?

Sorry...no way!


I want to do the 4.5" wheel off a Dyna with a 160/70 so I've done quite a bit of measuring, and I'm here to tell you it'll barely fit. So two things...a 180 WILL NOT fit inside the stock fender. AND, even if it did, a 180 tire is entirely too big for the stock 3" wheel. Dare I say unsafe and handling would suck. I'm gonna need to see pics of this one.
