Wards Parts Werks FCS added with Coil Relo
I have been running the coil relo on my Softail for awhile now.
I wanted to add the FCS fans from Wards Parts Werks since it is going to start warming up soon.
I was not sure how it was going to bolt up (they are not designed to work together), but found it was an easy adaptation.
Picked up a Stainless Fender Washer
A stud of the same thread that is already on the bike (5/16-18)
A Coupling nut (5/16-18)
Using the coupling nut (I had to cut it down a bit) and the stud material, I extended the horn stud enough past the FCS fan bracket that the Coil relo fit right on.
The stainless fender washer went against the stock rubber mount for looks, and a couple of washers held the coil bracket away from the FCS bracket.
I've ridden a few hundred miles with it, no interference with the left leg at all, and it's solid.
I'm very happy with the FCS fans, been running some on another bike for over a year (about 25k miles) and they are performing just as well on the Softail...and I got to keep my coil relo.

For the Heritage, the bracket for the horn uses the Saddlebag hardware for the bottom mount of the bracket-

Since the Wards fans no longer are available, use the Mighty Mites. We recommend you get them at www.buylovejugs.com or call them at this number- (346-800-7946), mention that we referred you, & they'll put a little something extra in your package for you.
Worst case you would need to sell your Breakout coil, get a standard Softail coil and put your key somewhere else.
