I love the look of your bike with those rims. I ordered a set of SS about 2 weeks ago. They will be sitting at the house when I get back home. I have a couple of buddies that are running them and they swear by SS. They said hands down worth the money due to the ride. JD is a great guy to work with and I have heard nothing but great things about his customer service before, during and after the product is installed.

you mentioned you had new tires mounted their is your answer buy the shotgun and run the wheels and tires you have until they need to be replaced why throw the new tire money you already spent away. I also run the SS and would personally have to say the difference in ride even at or near stock height is amazing

I did both mods but If I could do ony one SS no question, of course thats easy to say after riding with them a few hundred miles.
On a side note...went on a 200 mile ride last weekend 2 up to a campout loaded with both bags full, SAC bag for 2, 2 Oregon bedrolls and 2 chairs plus me and OL. Party was back in a private farm about 1/4 mile off black top and crossed railroad tracks before getting there. Once I had it dialed in the bike glided over the tracks like "butta" and the one lane, rutted out dirt road to the farm was like rollin' on just paved road. the SS took every bump, dip and pothole like a champ.
The negative about SS... they are so freaking good it makes you realize how sub par the stock frontend is, so the mext move is taking care of the soft front shocks....maybe progressive lowering with Ricors.

Thanks guys! Shotgun Shock shipped today. I also ordered some Progressive Monotubes that Im going to run at -1" as per the other posts stating 2" was a rough ride. Hoping that the Cholos wont take the 6-8 weeks Samson told me. Some have waited 2-3 weeks and some as much as 4 months!! I really hope that's not the case for me lol.
I think while the suspension is apart Im going to either polish the lower forks or have the PC'd white..note sure if it would look right. Lastly Im going to hold off on the spokes for now. Maybe next riding season lol. I think Im going to like the look of my bike the mods I have coming!
