Im going to try first to follow the channel and see if I can figure out the wire for the light of the stock license light… I don't want to remove the fender for just one wire…plus Im going to leave the light that is on the fender… the Kury license plate came with a metal chrome plate to cover part of the old fender setup and the stock fender light reflects on it…so it is OK.

I don't want to remove or change the fender for now… just hookup the LEDs on the license plate…and now will be a good time to do it…I will have to remove the seat to install the Load equalizer for the front LED turn signal some time next week, when I get the new lights…. I just want to remove the seat one time.

thank you all for all the help and ideas...

I have the Service manual and found the fender parts…see picture… I might give it a try and remove it… hopefully is not like the turn signal wires… almost took the whole bike apart LOL.

I also found the wiring diagram (see pic)… if someone needs it.

With the fender off, it's easy to pull the wires out of the channel.
Correct…good memory…I found the wiring pic…thanks.

I will need the wire wires that go to pin #12 and #6 maybe I can solder the license plate wires to it… or just like you suggested pull the wires out and re-route this channel to the side mount…

Another member made a connector…see pic..I asked him for more pics to determine location.

I might re-route the middle channel, make some type of plugging connector, that way i can easily remove it if I need to.
