Thunderbike added their cool personality to the Breakout.
I see no mention of any modifications to the drive belt, swingarm or rearend, except changing the rear fender which doesn't impact rim or tire fitment, and they managed to successfully fit the Metzler 260 in there.

No mods needed to install 260 on that Thunderbike BO. Rear fender will fit 260. Already ordered that kinda fender but with integrated taillight and turn signals and should be delivered next week.

Won't that depend on how wide the mounted 260 actually is? It varies by tire brand and rim width.

How many different tires have you found in a 260 width?
The Metzeler 260 fits the Breakout fine, as does the Dunlop 250 which is pretty much the same width when mounted on the stock wheel.

That was kinda my point. The Metzeler 260 isn't really 260 wide. Perhaps it would be if mounted on a wider rim. I don't know what the actual measured width of the Avons or V-Rubbers are in the 240-260 range.

I don't believe the rear tire width has as much affect on handling as most people think...I believe the reason most think this way... is most custom bikes that have big rear tires, are also raked out...which has a big effect on handling...I have had a 130, 200 and 250 on the same bike...no dramatic difference.

I've been eyeballing that fender kit from Thunderbike for a little while now, was she expensive landed?

Received TB parts just a few days ago. Reasonable shipping cost to Italy.
Now need to have a pre-fitting of custom seat and fender to drill the seat hole on the fender before paint job. Rear fender with integrated taillight and blinkers is the most expensive (about $1550) while the naked one is about $900.
Also bought flat risers to lower dragbar, we'll see if there will be enough clearance between tach bucket and Blackline console.
I'm still waiting for further engine parts to finish my project, they should be delivered shortly. Guess within 3/4 weeks I should have everything installed and bike should be done...

Cool, $1550USD or Euro?
I'm in Canada so no doubt that'll equate to $14K then add tax HAHA jk
I'd like to lose the rear curled up lip fender as well.
I'll be looking forward to seeing your progress.

If I remember well price was about €1375, so about $1550 depending on exchange rate.
I'll also chop a little bit front fender to clean further more front end...
I'll keep you posted!
